Axel Anklam
The motif series "Massive" by Axel Anklam is based on observations of rock massifs - so it is a matter of landscape representations in a highly abstracted, aestheticized form. Using a laser, the lines are cut into a metal plate, which, due to the minimal folding, allows for iridescent light refractions depending on the location. The resulting spatial illusion provides a view of an imaginary mountain world.
