The first new exhibition of Galerie Schlichtenmaier in 2020 is a bow to collectors and those who want to become collectors. Not always, but often enough, a private collection begins with prints and drawings or paintings on paper. We have made a selection of first-rate works from these genres, spanning some 100 years. Thus, across numerous styles and periods, one can get an idea of the infinite possibilities that paper offers as a foundation. After all, this medium is supposed to be patient. All the more exciting is what can be seen on it, which is why one should not exercise too much patience oneself to see this show.
