For the exhibition in Nürtingen:
. When Margarete Oehm met the painter Willi Baumeister in 1923 at the age of 25, she had traveled a lot, was a member of the International Women's League for Peace and Freedom, and as a painter and draftswoman was interested in the new artistic image of man of the Uecht Group around Oskar Schlemmer and Willi Baumeister. Three years later, after her marriage to Willi Baumeister, she ended her artistic work. The show at the Ruoff Foundation is the first institutional exhibition devoted to her work and artistic dialogue with Willi Baumeister. It is made possible by the cooperation with the Baumeister Archive in Stuttgart.
