From September 19 to January 11, 2014, the Schlichtenmaier Gallery shows in your Stuttgart Dependace at the Kleiner Schlossplatz the exhibition "Willi Baumeister. The other middle", to which an accompanying catalog with 37 illustrations and a text by Dr. Günter Baumann has been published.

The seventh exhibition of works by Willi Baumeister at Galerie Schlichtenmaier is based on a 30-year experience that began with the acquisition of a painting by this pioneer of modernism in 1983.

With 32 paintings, supplemented by works on paper, the show not only provides a glimpse into the holdings of works by one of the most important artists to significantly (and groundbreakingly) shape our gallery program, but also allows an overview of important phases of his artistic career.
