Camill Leberer is a sculptor, painter, draftsman, installation and light artist in one - or rather an artist between all these ultimately inadequate definitions. "Light Thread" is the name he gives to his exhibition, focusing on the elemental phenomenon of light, without which his art would be inconceivable. The concept of the thread of light turns Leberer into a director: he literally holds the thread in his hand, which also creates liabilities - dialogues between the work and the viewer, but also as a description of an optical effect that occurs when one looks into the light with eyes that are almost closed and blinking. The wall works and installations can be located between Minimal Art and Arte Povera. In these in-between spaces he creates highly aesthetic works that touch and fascinate directly, but also intellectually.
