Literature: Lothar Späth (ed.), Erich Hauser. Catalog raisonné. Vol. II, Rottweil 2000, No. 2/93, ill. p. 220

Erich Hauser remained true to his understanding of art until the late 1990s. His sculpture "2/93" from 1993, despite the coolness of the metal and the seemingly crystalline design, has a movement process comparable to growth, which results from the light guidance of illuminated and shaded surfaces. The calculated rhythm of the surfaces contributes to the upward movement of the sculptural formulation. The sculpture seems to split from its center into two parallel strands of form, which culminate in a maximum of dynamic expression through their diverging directions and the one bent tip.
