With his etching "Heine in der Campagna" Günther Schöllkopf not only makes fun of Goethe worship - the sheet quotes the famous portrait by Johann Heinrich Wilhelm Tischbein from 1786/87, which shows Goethe on his trip to Italy. At the same time, he places his own literary household saint on the same level as the national poet.
